The Mexican singer who stole Christina Aguilera’s heart after their video duo

It is no secret that Christina Aguilera is one of the most loved singers from the Spanish speaking audience, who has internationalized her career with her unique voice.
At the age of 41, the New Yorker expressed her passion for music in Spanish, as she did not hesitate to show herself as she really is to her more than 8 million followers on Instagram.
At the height of her singing career, Aguilera decided to take some time for herself and step away from the stage a bit, so now in 2022, she’s back in style and big surprises.
The translator of successful works such as “Lady marmalade”, “Beautiful”, “Candyman”, “Dirrity” and “Can’t Hold us down” has started promoting her new album, “La Fuerza”.
It is worth noting that the singer, who has always been proud of her Latin roots, released this full-length album entirely in Spanish, and even a duet with Ozuna attends with the song “Santo”.
Within this promotion, the singer of international stature gave a press conference in which she admitted something few could have imagined, how memorable it was to record a duet alongside one of the most beloved Mexicans.
“Today I want you”
The star took a few moments to talk about her new music and work as a singer from now on, but she also mentioned how much fun she had been singing alongside Alejandro Fernandez.
The stars joined forces with their talents in 2013 to release a song called “Hoy Tengo Ganas de Ti”, one of the biggest hits in Spanish and romantic poems.
The topic alone is one of the most exciting songs of all time that managed to find the perfect match between Fernandez and Aguilera, but the official video was a real victory for both of them.
The poem was written in 1975 by composer Miguel Gallardo, and performed by other singers such as Venezuelan Ricardo Montaner, until it reached the hands of the blonde and the Mexican.
And over the course of four minutes and 57 seconds, the stars demonstrated the chemistry, friendship and complicity that exists between them, for which she herself threw flowers at the 50-year-old Mexican.
The translator said with a big smile, “I loved this collaboration, it’s a great artist and it was a legendary song, it’s so special to me… I’ve never performed a song like it again.”
Namely, the singer has only good memories of her colleague, she assures that he is a real gentleman and an artist full of his talent and professionalism.
“Alejandro is very kind and that is why I invited him on stage when I was in Mexico for my last concert. Everyone was in shock and I saw so much love for him. It was definitely a beautiful experience.”
The fact is that so far the video is still a real hit, for almost 10 years after its release, it has already garnered more than 500 million views.
