“A project with a future that is developing as a player”

In pursuit of greater activity in Europe, Eugenio Pesotto left French football to play for Braga in Portugal.

Mexican soccer player Eugenio Pizzuto has become a new player for SC Braga in Portugal. The midfielder arrives in Lusitan football after going through a difficult stage in Ligue 1 with Lille.

Via his official Twitter account, Braga has officially announced the appointment of the 19-year-old who has trained at the Tuzos del Pachuca youth academy. The Aztecs access Portuguese football for free after his contract with the French team was terminated by mutual agreement a few weeks ago.

With Lille, Pizzuto failed to make his Ligue 1 debut despite being in the squad for a year and a half and even being part of the team that was declared Ligue 1 champion.

In the territory of Galic, Eugenio fought against “compartment syndrome”, which did not allow him to be in good physical shape, and therefore was not taken into account by Lille’s training staff. However, Pizzuto is now at its best and hopes to establish himself in Braga.

Os Arcebispos is fourth in the Portuguese rankings and will face Cherif for a place in the round of 16 of the Europa League. The Aztecs could make their first game this Sunday in the match against Moreirense.
